I respond to all service inquiries Monday-Friday during business hours. This means if you reach out on a Friday evening, the soonest I will reply will be Monday morning.
Based in the Greater Salt Lake Area, accepting in-person clients on a case-by-case basis.
Serving individuals and their families virtually around the world.
If you would like custom end-of-life support for your unique situation, or if you know you’re ready to work together, please choose a date and time for a consultation call at your convenience.
A death doula provides a variety of non-medical care for individuals and families approaching the end of life. This includes services such as “getting your affairs in order” following a terminal diagnosis (advance care planning), working on projects to leave behind (legacy work), and grief support to navigate the sorrow that comes before, during, and after a death.
For an in-depth exploration into a death doula’s role, please read this blog article.
I have worked with clients across the country. To accomplish this, much of my work is provided virtually, through Zoom calls. But there are some types of care (such as bedside vigil) that are better suited to in-person care.
If you’re seeking bedside assistance or simply prefer the bulk of your doula services to be provided in-person, you must live within the Salt Lake City area in Utah. Please contact me to discuss this option, as I only take a handful of in-person clients on a case-by-case basis.
Absolutely, yes. I like to think my computer screen is magical – I have held space for moments that are painful, healing, empowering, and often a combination of them all. Through virtual care, I am not restricted to serving only my local community. Instead, I am able to help wherever I am called, wherever there is a need for compassionate death-literate support.
I received a lot of these inquiries and used to devote hours of my time answering any and all questions for free. I’m available to answer questions on beginning a death doula practice (including how to market yourself, get clients, etc). Just click on the “Book now” button to schedule your appointment. Please note I do charge an hourly fee of $65 for this type of consultation.
After receiving a deluge of inquiries from folks who did not respond to my initial follow-up email, I decided the best way to honor my time was to charge an upfront fee to book a consultation.
This fee will be applied to your service package if you decide to hire me as your death doula. This fee can also be applied to any one-off services. For example, if you only want to proceed with a single grief support session, the consultation fee will go towards the cost of the grief session.
You don’t need to be terminally ill to work with me. I am a strong advocate for preparing for the end of your life, regardless of age. Thus, I work with adults of all ages for advance care planning.
The same goes for legacy work – we do not need to be dying to begin this work. For grief support, I work with a variety of losses (including but not limited to, death from traumatic loss, parent loss, and other types of grief like pet loss or navigating life transitions).
Grief support and therapy share certain similarities, but it is not clinical mental health counseling. Instead, grief support is a safe, supportive space for you to talk through your loss. Clients tell me that grief support has been an invaluable tool in that it helps them understand their physical/somatic responses in the context of their grief. Grief support does not diagnose or label with clinical terminology like depression or anxiety.

Yes, you can. Grief comes in many forms: the grief in response to a traumatic death will differ from the grief of an ended relationship, or the death of a beloved pet, or the move to another city.
Each grief is different, and each grief is wholly valid.
Can’t find the answers you need? Ask me a quick question (or two) in a free 15-minute coffee chat. Note, for in-depth guidance, please book the 1-hour consultation, as 15 minutes does not allow us to achieve the depth necessary for this tender work.
