Hi, I'm Niki, a Death Doula, Philosopher, and Writer

I offer virtual care for both life and death while exploring how life’s many endings empower us to live authentically, vibrantly, and fully alive.

Welcome.

Numbered Days serves as several things:

It's a space for reflecting on what the philosophical principle of “a life well-lived” means to you.

It's my little space in the world where I house all of my offerings and services to the community.

It’s an educational resource for anyone seeking to learn more death and dying.

Perhaps most of all, it’s a reminder that our days have been numbered to make each one precious.

My Ethos.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

— Psalm 90:12

The above quotes encompass the very heart of this project. Our numbered days remind us that our time is limited. Thus, we should make the most of it while taking appropriate measures for when that time runs out. In doing so, we hope to gain a heart of wisdom.

Additionally, so many people are unprepared to deal with the logistical and emotional questions arising at the end-of-life. So along with written resources (coming soon!) like e-books and printouts, Numbered Days attempts to address this concern through stories of loss.

By sharing their personal experiences with death – as well as the questions and subsequent regrets – the hope is to generate a wider level of participation to bring a greater variety of voices, experiences, and stories to the table.

My Offerings.

Death Doula Care

I offer a range of virtual death doula services to support you, regardless of age (young or old!), experience level (what’s death work!?), or health status.

Field Guidance

“Life coaching” rebranded as “field guidance” because the word “coaching” just doesn’t do it for me!

Death worker Creative Websites

As a fellow death worker, I get it. I create affordable websites for other death workers so you never have to choose between building your practice or putting food on the table.

Backpacking mentorship

I thought I knew a lot about hiking. Then I backpacked along the Appalachian Trail for 3 months and REALLY learned about hiking. Now I want to help you plan your own backpacking trips.

Hey there! Let's figure out this death (and life) thing together.

I’m a death doula, philosopher, and writer striving to bring a greater awareness of death education to the public. My work centers upon the idea that viewing life with an eye towards finitude helps us live with intention and purpose: living presently while still striving towards the future.

“There is a reason God limits our days…
to make each one precious.”

— Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper
